PICARD, Claude

The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Monday, July 6th, 2015 at the age of 62 years. Beloved husband of Shirley (née Audette) Picard of Sudbury. Predeceased by his parents Fern and Rose-Alma Picard. Loving step-father of Chantal Lamoureux (Luc) of Chelmsford, Lyanne Chenier (Jean-Mathieu) and Alain Brosseau (Cami) both of Azilda. Dear brother of Thérèse Roy (Leo) of Val Therese, Guy Picard (Lisa) of Sault-Ste-Marie, Alice Picard (Ed) of Sudbury and Henri Picard (Sylvie) of Ottawa. Cherished grandfather of Kayla, Samantha, Yvon, Sam and Chanel. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Claude loved reading the Auto-Trader, Bargain Hunter Magazine and was a big fan of Kijiji. He was an avid junk collector who loved old cars, scrap metal and will forever be remembered as “the duct tape pro”. In keeping with Claude’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
