Surrounded by family on Saturday July 4, 2015, Bill’s fight became no more. With sadness and sorrow and an overwhelming amount of love for all, the family wishes to announce the death of a truly incredible man. Bill was a family man who faced life head on with the love of his life, his beloved partner in life, his loving wife Carol. A fearless leader to so many, Bill’s passion for life, love and business will never be forgotten. A champion of the underdog, a team player on so many levels and a father figure to so many, Bill will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Ceppetelli). Loving father of Elisa. Cherished grandfather of Ayesha. Dear son of Ivan and Stefania (nee Fedun) Czerwinec both predeceased. Dear brother of Jaro, Mike (wife Mary Lynn), and Luba Anceriz (predeceased) (husband Jim). Known as ‘Uncle Bill’ to so many special loved ones. Sincere and heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff of the Northeastern Cancer Centre and Health Sciences North. An incredible team of people including Dr. Rachel Paradis, Dr. Nicole Jacobi, Dr. Jeffrey Shum and the entire nursing staff of the ICU department lead by Dr. Bhanu Nalla and Dr. Stéphane Sauvé all are to be commended for excellence in medical care and compassion. Bill’s life was very much public, serving and bringing hospitality to all. Known as ‘Mr. Shevies’, Bill took great pride in his successes in the Sudbury nightlife scene and making all feel welcome at the Ambassador. Family time for Bill however was personal and private, his wishes in passing were the same. Private family arrangements have been arranged by Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home with a private interment at this time. In lieu of flowers, to celebrate your love and fond memories of this incredible man, Bill would love nothing more than for you to donate to the Sam Bruno PET Scan Fund.
