In Loving Memory of James Hopewell Loney 90 years. Jim passed away peacefully on July 21st, 2015. Beloved husband of Margaret Stewart Loney (Davey). Loving father of Peter (Mary Catharine Macdonald) of Edmonton, Alberta and Eric (Janice Price) of Sudbury. Jim was born July 20, 1925 in Toronto, Ontario to Snowdon and Mabel (Suter) (predeceased). Dear grandfather of Caitlin (Peter), Ian (Ceilidh), MaryAnne (Peter), and Meghan (Garth). Dear great-grandfather of Alexander, Elizabeth, Adrienne, and Maggie. Jim was a lifelong resident of the Sudbury area, retired Inco employee and a WWII veteran. After retirement he ran his own accounting and income tax business. His favorite place was the family camp at Lost Channel where he just celebrated his 90th birthday. He was a dedicated Mason and a Shriner who lived the values of his vows on a daily basis. Known by all for his positive outlook on life, he will be missed. We wish to thank CCAC, Bayshore nurses and PSWs, especially Donna, and our many friends for their help and warm support which enabled Jim to continue to live at home during the last few years. Resting at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury (Friends may call on Friday between 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.). A Masonic service will be held 7:00 P.M.
