In loving memory of Alma Lachapelle (nee Paquin), 80 years on Saturday, August 1st, 2015 at the Elizabeth Centre, Val Caron. Beloved mother of Andrée Lachapelle, Jocelyne (Paul Clairmont), Denis (predeceased), Yves, Serge and Michelle Lachapelle. Loving grandmother of Celine, Marielle, Angele (Remi), Gyslain (Kristen), Sylvain (predeceased), Nathalie, Jeremiah, Timothy, John and Rebecca; great grandmother of Valerie, Martin, Gabrielle and Christian. Dear sister of Agnes (Gerald Trudel) and predeceased by brothers Roger and Georges. Missed by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her beloved dog Copain. Alma was a woman of great strength and sense of humour. She had a passion for plants, knitting socks, and exercises in the water. She enjoyed spending time at the YMCA and picking strawberries and blueberries. The family would like to thank the staff at the Elizabeth Centre, Area 2. Funeral prayers at the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent St., at Hazel St., Sudbury on Tuesday, August 4th, 2015 at 1 PM Friends may call after 11 AM Tuesday Cremation to follow at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Memorial donations to the Parkinson’s Society would be appreciated.
