The family announces with great sorrow, her passing in Sudbury, Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the age of 59 years. Our artist and beloved social butterfly has gone away to be with Christ in another way. Daughter of the late John and Thérèse (née Michel) Lackmanec. Beloved sister of Julie Lackmanec (late Bob Ouellette) and Reverand Anne Martin both of Sudbury, Father Peter Lackmanec of Richmond Hill and Christine Lackmanec of North Bay. Predeceased by her brother Victor. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews Christopher Gauthier, Amanda Gauthier, Cora McGaughey and Joshua Martin her godchild. Lovingly remembered by her extended family and numerous friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. , Sudbury, Thursday August 6, 2015 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m., (parish prayers at 7:30 p.m.) and Friday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday August 7, 2015 at 2 p.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, Sudbury. Marie received many blood transfusions, please give the gift of life, and support the Red Cross.
