It is with great sorrow that the family announces his death at his home in Val Thérèse on Saturday, August 29th, 2015 at the age of 65 years. Son of the late Réal and of the late Gertrude (née Venne) Gauthier. Beloved husband of Denise (née Cormier) Gauthier of Val Thérèse. Loving father of Daniel of Val Thérèse. Dear brother of Gérald (late Carmen) of Alban. Brother-in-law of Carmen Bouthiette (Gaëtan) of Val Caron, Gaston Cormier (Renée) of Val Thérèse, Estelle Labre (Germain) of Hanmer and Michel Cormier (Eileen) of Subury. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Normand was a proud member as well as treasurer of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree council 10602, Ste-Marguerite d’Youville and a member of the 4th degree Assembly 3156 Ste-Marguerite d’Youville, Val Thérèse. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4570 St. Joseph Street, Hanmer, Wednesday, September 2nd, 2015 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Ste Marguerite d’Youville Church, Val Thérèse.
