BÉLANGER, W. Georges

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Georges Willie Bélanger after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, August 28, 2015 at Health Sciences North, surrounded by the love of his family and closest friends. He is survived by his loving wife Monique Bélanger (Lavallee). He leaves behind the legacy of his children Gregg Bélanger (Amanda), Kimberley (Adam Best) and Kevin Bélanger, (Ronnie Spencer). He will be remembered as a great Pepère by his grandchildren Zachary, Dilynn and Jake Belanger, Jesse and Dustin Best. Born in Sudbury he was the son of the late Elzear and Lily (Sauvé) Bélanger. He will be forever missed by his sisters; Lise Chartrand, Danielle Soullière and France (Patrick Sweeney) and his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers and many friends including dearest friends Dennis and Marie Poirier. Dad, you have left us with so many beautiful memories and worked so hard to prepare us for life. We will always remember your love, your laugh, and your life. When we need your strength, we will always remember to take it “Easy, Partner”. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Paroisse St. Joseph, 3594 Errington Ave, Chelmsford at 10:30am followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00am.
