The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at the age of 65 years. Beloved husband of Carol Royer of Sudbury. Son of the late Adjustor and Beatrice (née Hébert) Royer. Loving father of Steve Royer, Tina Royer, Nanette Lapointe (Philippe Michaud), Antoinette Doucette (Curtis) and Rénald Lapointe (Kattie). Dear brother of Rolland Royer (Linda) and Julie Royer (Robert Chouinard). Cherished grandfather of Éric, Kayla, Cody, Annika, Angel, Elias, Alina, Miguel and Homeray. Gilles was always there to lend a helping hand and will be missed by all who knew him. He was an avid bowler. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Friday, September 4, 2015 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, Sudbury.
