YOUNG, Helen (Länder)

Born in Elbing, East Prussia, Helen was the daughter of Johan and Emilie (nee Fietkau) Länder and sister of Heinz, Gerda, Martha and Anneliese, all deceased. She is survived by her brother Hans and several nieces and nephews in Europe. After emigrating to Canada, Helen married Norman Charles Young (predeceased). She is survived by her children George (Susan), Anita (George Vallis), David (Donna) and Ramona and ten grandchildren. At Helen’s request there will be no public service or visitation. Cremation with private interment in the Lasalle Catholic Cemetery. Offers of charity on her behalf should be made anonymously.
