In Loving Memory of Joseph Bedek 89 Years who passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 with his loving wife of 59 years at his side. Beloved and cherished husband of Anne Bedek (Zvonkovich) of Sudbury . Loving father of Emily (Pat DiPietro) of Ottawa, Mary (Brendan Wall) of St. Davids and John (Maureen Moore) of Talbotville. Treasured grandfather of Christina and Lindsay DiPietro, Rachel, Kelly and Taylor Bedek. Dear son of Mata and Mara (Tomasec) (both predeceased). Special brother to Nikola (predeceased), Kata (predeceased), Vera and Stef all of Jablanovac, Croatia. Dear brother-in-law to Mary Zvonkovich (Peter predeceased) and nephew Peter (Allison) of Sudbury. Will be sadly missed by cousins Darko and Maca Bedek and family of Zagreb, Croatia. Born in Jablanovac, Croatia and immigrated to Canada in 1952. Joseph was a member of the Croatian Peasant Society and INCO Quarter Century Club. Joseph was a hard worker his whole life and that work ethic is reflected in his children and grandchildren. He loved his home on Little Lake Penage and was a wonderful gardener. Joseph was a master craftsman in wood working. Joseph will always be remembered for his love of animals and his love of the outdoors. He always looked forward to the hockey season and being able to cheer on his Toronto Maple Leafs. A very heartfelt thank you to Dr. P. Rheault for the many years of compassionate care provided and to Dr. Chau and Terry his home care nurse. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maison Vale Hospice would be greatly appreciated in his memory.
