It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Richard Pigeau, October 20th, 2015 at the age of 54 years. Predeceased by his parents Ted and Aline (née Larcher) Pigeau. Remarkable and loving father of Natalie Pigeau (Justin Tessier) and Julie Pigeau. Devoted pépère to Kamron and Peyton Tessier. He is survived by his children’s mother Carole Pigeau (née Duclos) and partner Corrine Carrière. Brother to Marc Pigeau (Shirley), Carmel Pigeau (Murielle) and Al Pigeau (Cheryl). To those who loved him most, he will be remembered as the most kind, caring, genuine, hardworking, fun loving, gentle soul. He enjoyed spending time on his boat, listening to music and quiet time reading. He loved watching his Leafs lose and the Jays head to the post season. Most of all, he cherished every second spent with his beautiful grandchildren, Kamron and Peyton. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Wednesday, October 28th, 2015 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. & 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Canadian Mental Health Association. It was something he felt strongly about.
