GOBEIL, Edouard 'Ti-Pit'

It is with great sadness that the Gobeil family announces his sudden death on Tuesday, November 24th, 2015 in Dowling at the age of 77 years. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Rose-Aimée (née Dussault). Beloved husband of the late Deanna “Diane” (née Carrière). Loving father of Joanne Gobeil (Gilles Bélanger) of Sturgeon Falls, Donald of Noëlville and Chantal Kirouac (Daniel) of Dowling. Survived by her sisters Lionie, Marie, Rose and survived by his sister in law Yvette. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Cynthia, Jessica, Alexis, Kyle and Kevin. He will be remembered in the hearts of his great-grandchildren Cameron, Kendrick, Kayleigh and Emerald. Edouard was a kind, gentle hearted man who loved children and the outdoors. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and going for drives to enjoy the scenery. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St-David’s Church, Noelville.
