SYMOCZKO, Stella (Ziminski)

In Loving Memory of Stella Symoczko (nee Ziminski) 81 years Peacefully, Wednesday, November 25th, 2015 at her residence. Beloved wife of Mykola Symoczko predeceased May 19th, 2004. Loving mother of William “Bill” Symoczko. Cherished grandmother of Jasen (wife Michelle) and Dwayne and great grandchildren Darion and Aiden. Dear daughter of Alex and Stella (Boyuk) Ziminski both predeceased. Dear sister of William Ziminski predeceased (wife Florence), Raymond Ziminski, Eddie Lebid (wife Madeline predeceased) and Anne Surface. Sadly missed by nieces, nephews and her dear friend Margaret Pelletier. Born in Sudbury May 24th, 1934, Stella married Mykola in 1953. She was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch Street, Sudbury (Friends may call 2-4; 6-8:00 P.M. Sunday with Panakhyda at 7:00 P.M. Sunday) Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church 40 Notre Dame Avenue, Sudbury Monday, November 30th, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ukrainian Senior Center or the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
