Père bien-aimé de Roger (Pauline), Dan (Suzanne), Paul (Sue), Aimé (Janet), Walter (Sharlene), Jo-Anne Houle (Rick) et Monique Mearini (John). Cher frère de Joffre (Diane), Robert (Rolande), Mona Forget (feu Venance) et Jacques (Gail). Prédécédé par son frère Irènée et par ses soeurs Irène Desmarais (feu Jean-Paul) et Réjeanne Dupuis. Grand-papa bien-aimé de Sandy, Ginette, Jennifer, Melissa, Willis, Gary, Karen, Tanya, Allison, Megan, Heather, Julie, Sarah, Miranda, Jessica, Patrick, Jordan et arrière grand-papa de 19. Lui survivent ses belles-sœurs Madeleine Rochon, Gisèle Bazinet (feu Paulo) et ses beaux-frères Denis Lacroix et Jacques Lacroix (Anne). Prédécédé par son beau-frère Alban Lacroix (Louise).
