OLSEN, M. Lloyd

It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Lloyd Maynard Olsen, 69 years on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Health Sciences North with family by his side. Beloved husband of Wanda (Porteous) Olsen. Loving father of Darin (predeceased). Cherished grandfather of Kalem Black. Born in Osgoode, ON he was the son of the late Emil and Edith (Eccles) Olsen. Dear brother of Eric (wife Mary), Grethe Sheldrick (husband Dale) and much loved brother-in-law of Edith Pedden (husband Bruce). He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Lloyd retired with 38 years of dedicated service as a Shaft Inspector with Falconbridge. He enjoyed spending time gardening and woodworking. Lloyd leaves a rich legacy of a caring and devoted husband and family man who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. In keeping with the family’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements entrusted to Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services Ltd.
