In Loving Memory of Petrusia “Patricia” Kowal, 55 years, Passed peacefully, in the presence of her loving mother and fiancé, on Wednesday, January 27th, 2016 at Health Sciences North Beloved daughter of Eugene (predeceased 2009) and Anna (Nowicka) Kowal of Coniston. Cherished fiancée of Paul Wagner of Sudbury. Loving sister of Barbara Kocijowsky (Jerry) of Oakville and Luba Kowal of Vancouver. Dear aunt to Sonia Spence (Omari) of Brampton and Eugenia Kowal of Oakville and great aunt to Riley and Lily. Missed by her relatives in Ukraine and her godmother Magdalena Bezzubyk. Predeceased by her godfather Michailo Shewciw. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario (London) with a degree in music, Patricia became a music teacher for the Sudbury Catholic District School Board. She loved to sing, dance, and play the piano, and used her passion for music to participate in many cultural events and concerts celebrating her Ukrainian heritage, of which she was very proud. She was very involved in the Ukrainian National Federation Choir. Patricia was a quiet, caring, hard-working, well-educated, and very loving person. A woman of great faith, she was a dedicated member of St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Coniston. She will be deeply missed by her mother, Anna, her loving sisters, family, and friends. Vichnaya Pamyat Petrusia. Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church 40 Notre Dame Ave, Sudbury Saturday, February 6th, 2016 at 10am with reception to follow in the Church Hall. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium Donations to St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church or the Lung Association would be appreciated. ARRANGEMENTS ENTRUSTED TO THE JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME
