BERGERON, Beatrice (Pilon)

Our dear mother passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North on January 28, 2016 with her family by her side. Mom was 95 years old and lived to see five generations. Daughter of the late Hormidas Pilon and Diana Bruneau. Predeceased by her loving husband Edouard and her special friend Joe Seguin. Loving mother of Irène Démoré (Réjean and Marcel Gagnon both predeceased), Clarence Bergeron (Jacqueline), Adrienne Démoré (Donald), Normand (predeceased) and Viviane Labranche (Gérard predeceased and Doug Cook). Cherished grandmother of Robert Démoré (Monique), Marc Démoré (Lorraine), Micheline Préseault (Richard), Nigelle Bergeron (Vicky), André Bergeron (Michelle), Gérald Bergeron (Debbie), Renée Bergeron (Rick), André Démoré (Hélène), Alain Démoré (Patricia), Julie Labranche-Valade (Jamie), Chantal Labranche (Bassam) and Marc Labranche (Teresa). Proud great-grandmother of 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren. Sister of Edna Lariviere (Boris); predeceased by her sisters Evelyn Bernier, Oveline Forestell, Mary Jane Wasney and her brother Bill Pilon. Beatrice had an unconditional love for her family. She was very compassionate and truly unselfish. Her beautiful smile, her sense of humour and her bubbly personality were just a few of her wonderful traits that made so many people happy. A special thank you to her grandson Marc Démoré who came regularly to Meadowbrook to play guitar and sing for her. Mom would gather her friends and she would sing her favourite songs: “Piece of Baloney” and “Out Behind the Barn”. She sure was the life of the party and will be missed by everyone who knew her. “THE SONG MAY BE OVER BUT THE MELODY LIVES ON”. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. DeBlacam and Dr. Koop, CCAC and their amazing PSWs and also an infinite gratitude to all the caring staff at Meadowbrook. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Thursday, February 4th, 2016 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Friday at St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Renovation Fund would be appreciated.
