In Loving Memory of Pietro Bedin 94 years Monday, April 14th, 2014 at Villa Colombo, Toronto. Beloved husband of Giustina (nee Domengoni) Bedin predeceased 2010. Loving father of John (predeceased) and Gabriella Paul (predeceased). Devoted Nono of Melodie Paul Smith and Christian Paul and great grandchildren Autumn Hall, Massimo Paul and Samuel Laine Smith. Dear son of Giuseppe and Giovanna (nee Pizzolato) Bedin both predeceased. Dear brother of Dina and Bruna and predeceased by Ermengildo (Nino) Bedin, Bruno Bedin, Giuseppe Bedin, Giuseppina, Maria and Sylvana. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews Massimo and Graziella Merlo and family, Marco and Laura Merlo and family, Carlo and Laura Visentin, Massimo and Donata Visentin and family and Renato Visentin and family. Pietro was born January 11th, 1920 in Venegazzu (Volpago del Montello) Italy. He was a skilled carpenter with Cecchetto Construction Company for many years. An avid gardener, his green thumb produced bountiful vegetables and beautiful grapes. He was a proud wine maker. Pietro will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humour and inspired work ethic. The light of his life will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. Funeral Service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch St., Sudbury Wednesday, May 7th, 2014 at 11:30am. Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery.
