It is with deep sadness that the family announces Jacob’s passing on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2014 in Sudbury at the age of 37 years. Beloved son of Germain Laurin (Jeanette) and of Dorrie Weeks. Loving brother of Rebecca Reid, Layla Montpellier and Melissa Laurin (Rio Riviere). Step-brother of Joey Millette (Teresa) and Luc Millette (Natasha). Cherished uncle of Chelsea, Cole, Nathan, Chance and Dylan. Precious grandson of Betty Weeks. Sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, step nieces and nephews and friends. Jacob was a gentle soul who always put the needs of others before his own. He is remembered for being a caring, giving and thoughtful person. He had a heart of gold and is deeply missed by everyone he touched. Jacob will be cremated. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Sudbury Bible Fellowship, 1661 Lansing Ave, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honour of Jacob’s memory to your local Food Bank or the Sudbury Soup Kitchen or Canadian Mental Health Association.
