In Loving Memory of Lillian Deschene (nee Collin) 75 years Who passed away peacefully Tuesday August 12th, 2014 at Pioneer Manor. Beloved wife of Jean-Noel Deschene (predeceased). Loving mother of Paul, John (fiancée Tina) and Rita all of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of McKayla Deschene. Dear sister of Irene Francis of Sudbury, Evelyn McColeman (Angus) of Garson, Jacques Rathwell of Hillsburg and Jocelyn Rathwell of Barrie. Aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. Lovingly remembered by the Deschene family. Predeceased by her parents William and Cecile (nee Charette) Collin, son Pierre, brother Armand Collin and sister Yvette Stanton (late Alton). Sadly missed by treasured friend Brenda Cain. Lillian loved puzzles, reading, playing cards and music; she was especially fond of old country and French songs. She had a great sense of humour accompanied by her dry wit. She was extremely kind-hearted and generous and would help anyone in need. What she treasured most was her granddaughter McKayla and spending time with family and friends. Her light will continue to shine for all those that knew and loved her. Memorial Visitation at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch St. Sudbury. (Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday only.) Memorial Mass Saturday August 16th,2014 at 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Church 1887 Bancroft Drive Sudbury. Donations to the Huntington Society would be greatly appreciated. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Interment in St John’s Cemetery, Garson.
