ZOGRAFOPOULOS, Angela (Vlahopoulos)

In loving memory of Angela (Vlahopoulos) Zografopoulos, 58 years who passed away peacefully after a short illness on Thursday, August 14th at Health Sciences North.  Beloved daughter of Constandia Vlahopoulos and Athansisos (predeceased) of Greece.  Husband Kosmas of Gravenhurst.  Loving sister of Tassos and Garafalia Moriatis (Elias) both of Greece.  Dearest aunt of Dimitri and Panagotia.  Dear niece of Thomae (Frank), Catherine, Maria (Tim), Morfi, Nick predeceased by Vanthea and Stella.  Special cousin of Marsha (Peter), Jim (Dina), Steve, Tess, Sam (Mona), Billy, Efi (Nikos), Doli and Vasililos and great-cousins of Andrew, Franklin, Jonathan, Katie, Kevin (Telicia) and Derrick.  Loving godmother of Samantha (Jeff), Katrina and Timothy.  Special niece of Tony and Angela and will be missed by the remainder of her family. Angela came to Canada in 1973 from Greece.  She worked at Lolas Confectionery until she eventually became an owner and then had Angie’s Convenience on Lorne. For the last eight years, she worked at Deluxe on Lorne Street.  Angie was a loving and caring woman with a heart of gold and everyone who knew her loved her.  She loved to cook and her expertise was her baking.  Family and friends were Angela’s love and joy and she was always there to help them and liked to give her advice whether they liked it or not.  She will be sadly missed by all her family and will be remembered as a good friend.  The family would like to extend a special thanks to her friends and co-workers and health care workers who helped her and supported her along the way. Funeral service is to be held at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 486 Ester Road on Monday, August 18th, 2014 at 10:00 am. Friends may gather at the church at 9:30 am on Monday. Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery. Donations to the NCF Cancer Centre. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home.
