KRATS, Laura (LUOPA)

In Loving Memory of Laura Krats (nee Luopa) 96 years Who passed away peacefully, Sunday September 14th, 2014 at the Espanola Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late John Krats (1971). Loving mother of sons Bill (Teresa) of Arizona and John of British Columbia and daughter-in-law Regina of Ottawa. Cherished grandmother of Carol, James and David, Edward and Jody Anne, and Joni, as well great grandmother to 7 great grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents John and Lempi Maria (nee Kalliomaki) Luopa, her son Karl and her brothers Urho and Leo. Laura lived a very special life filled with her favourite pastimes; quilting, mat making and crafts as well as spending time with her many friends at her home on the Vermillion River. Family and friends are invited to a reception to celebrate Laura’s life, at 93 Ronka Rd., Beaver Lake, on Tuesday September 16th, 2014 between 4 and 7 p.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Espanola Nursing Home would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
