PETRANT, Ralph 'Bud'

In Loving Memory of Ralph “Bud” Petrant 79 years Friday, September 26th, 2014 at Health Sciences North  Beloved husband of Ann Petrant (nee Bisset) for 58 years. Loving father of Carol Ann Leduc (John), Kevin Petrant (Lise), Brenda Petrant (Rolly), Linda Domenico and Lori Rietze (Perry). Cherished papa to 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Son of Leo and Agnes Petrant (nee Jeanbone) both predeceased. Survived by his sister Sonia Peliti (Denny) of Toronto and sister-in-law Arlene Raymond (Earl predeceased) of Orillia. Predeceased by siblings Mel (Willow), Leona “Tootsie”, and brother-in-law John Bisset. He will be missed by many favourite nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Bud worked at INCO for 30 years. He enjoyed going camping, golfing, curling, watching sports on TV, playing hockey & baseball and drinking beer. The family would like to thank the 7th floor north, 6th floor south and 9th floor dialysis staff at Health Sciences North, Dr. Mehta, Dr. McAlister and the staff at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care for taking care of Bud over the years and also to Ray Guillet for his help during this time.  Memorial Service at the Lougheed Funeral Home “Hanmer Chapel” 4605 Michelle Dr, Hanmer Saturday, October 4th, 2014 at 1:30 p.m.  (Friends may gather after 10:30 a.m. on Saturday) Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium Donations to the Maison Vale Hospice, Canadian Diabetes or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
