MARTIN, Thérèse (Prévost)

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Thérèse Martin (née Prévost) at Health Sciences North, Tuesday October 14th, 2014.  Thérèse was born in Blind River on May 25th, 1929.  Cherished wife of René Martin for 66 years.  Loving mother of Juliette Fellbaum (Paul) of Peterborough, Gérald (Marilyn) of Sudbury, Donald (predeceased) and Françoise Martin-Winchester (Keith) of Kingston.  Dear grandmother of Renée, Anthony (Pamela), Krista (Marcel), Sean (Jennifer), Robert (predeceased), Heather and Lori.  Great-grandmother of Abigail, Evelyn, Mathieu, Charlie, Nola and Veronica.  Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Marie Rose (née Huot) Prévost.  Beloved sister of Yvonne Shields (Joe), Émilien (predeceased) Prévost (Rolande), Denise Chartrand (René), Annette Rancourt (Gérald) and Aline Rinta (Ronald predeceased).  Thérèse will be remembered as a gifted seamstress who expressed her entrepreneurial and artistic side through numerous endeavours and hobbies.  Thérèse and René spent many winters travelling to Florida, Texas and many other destinations in North America.  A funeral Mass will be held at Paroisse Ste-Anne-des-Pins, 14 Beech St, Sudbury, on Tuesday October 21st, 2014 at 10 a.m.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
