FINN, Mollie (PAUL)

In Loving Memory of Mollie (nee Paul) Finn 81 years Saturday, October 25th, 2014 at Brampton Civic Hospital.  Beloved wife of Patrick Joseph Finn predeceased 1993. Loving mother of Tony (Chris) of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Susan (Dan) of Ottawa, Gerald (Claire) of Georgetown, and Kathy (Keena) of Brampton. Cherished grandmother of Pamela, Adam (Amy), Ryan (Shannon), Patrick (Geli), Seamus, Kieran, and great grandchildren Cordell, Kendra, Abigail, and Redford. Dear daughter of Harold and Ivy (nee Emerson) Paul both predeceased. Dear sister of Dick predeceased (Dulcie), Bill predeceased (Nora), Cyril (Eileen), Brian (Alice), Barrie (Joan), Edward predeceased, all of England. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Good friend of Con Finnegan.  Mollie was born in England where she married Patrick Joseph Finn in 1954. A devout Roman Catholic, she had attended Holy Redeemer Church and she had been a member of the parish CWL. Mollie was quick to help others and she belonged to many worthwhile organizations which included the Parkside Seniors’ Centre, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #76, the Irish Heritage Club and the Kidney Foundation. She had been a strong supporter of the Michael O’Reilly Walk for a Second Chance promoting organ donation awareness. She enjoyed rugmaking, embroidery, knitting and sewing. Her creations are treasured by family and friends. The focus of her life was her loving family. And Mollie, until we meet again, may the Good Lord keep you in the palm of His hand.  Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9pm Wednesday with parish prayers 3pm). Funeral Mass in Holy Redeemer Church 1887 Bancroft Dr., Sudbury Thursday, October 30th, 2014 at 10am. Interment in the family plot at the Civic Memorial Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation or Irish Heritage Walk for a Second Chance would be appreciated.
