In Loving Memory of David “Dave” Joseph Dube 50 years Tuesday, November 18th, 2014 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, surrounded by his loving family.  Beloved husband of Barb (Wilson) Dube of Sudbury. Precious son of Jack and Bruna Dube of Sudbury. Treasured big brother of Tiffany (C.J. Kovelowski) of Connecticut.  Cherished grandson of Monica and Giuseppe Biscaro (predeceased). Loving son-in-law of May Wilson (Tom, predeceased 1994) of Sudbury.  Dear brother-in-law of Steven (Melanie) of Ajax, Pamela (Anthony Ferrara) of Scarborough, and Cathie Wilson of Brampton. Loving uncle of Jake, Isabella, Luke, Christopher, Scott, Lucas, Cole and Jessica. Honourary “Uncle Dave” to Jaime and Victoria Belyea, Jared Scott, Callum and Liam Bruce, and Tyler Smith. Beloved “Dad” to his dog, Sammy, and cat, Pfeiffer. Sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and the Maki clan.  Dave was born in Sudbury and worked at Inco/Vale in Purchasing, Human/Industrial Resources, and Business Systems Maintenance for 25 years. He was an exceptionally talented athlete, and excelled at both hockey and baseball in his earlier years. He enjoyed the simple things in life and truly loved his Saturdays. Breakfast with Belyea, coffee with Jack and Bruna, ProLine bets with his boys, playing 18, kicking back with his dad and buddies at the Idylwylde, a refreshing swim, barbecuing his specialty pork chops, wine with Barb, and the sports channels with Sam and Fife all made for a perfect day. He will be fondly remembered for his dry wit, great strength of character, his gifted memory, “Dave-isms” coupled with his signature chuckle, and love of animals.  At Dave’s request there will be no public visitation or service. A celebration of Dave’s life will be held at a future date. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Northern Cancer Center or Pet Save Sudbury would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home, Sudbury
