BAKER, J. Thomas

The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury on Friday, November 21, 2014 at the age of 92 years. Son of the late Thomas Joseph Baker and of the late Gladys (nee Mable) Baker. Loving father of Cathy Adamo, Patricia Baker, Barbara Ellen Lafleche (Ron) and honourary daughter Stacey Easton. Predeceased by his brother Harry Baker. Cherished grandfather of Darryl, Carla, Rachel, Alice, Tom, Russell, Rhiannon, Bridget, Pamela and honourary grandson Austin. Sadly missed by his constant companion Patchy. Lovingly remembered by his nephews Michael, Howard and Stuart, his niece Peggy, many friends and neighbours. Thomas was a WW2 veteran, a music lover and a model railroading enthusiast. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Tuesday, November 25th, 2014 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to the Legion Branch 76 or S.P.C.A. would be appreciated.
