TAYLOR, A Annetta (Cook)

In Loving Memory of Annetta Ann Taylor (nee Cook), 98 years Who passed away peacefully on Monday December 15th, 2014 at Finlandia. Beloved wife of David Shopland Taylor (predeceased 1991). Loving mother of Gerald (predeceased) (Fern), Kenneth (Shirley), Douglas (Jann), Joyce (Warren predeceased), Donald (Ethel), and Philip. Cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Annetta was a loving mother to her family and enjoyed having a houseful of family for visits. Her wit, sense of humour and feistiness will be missed by everyone who knew her. She loved crocheting squares to make her famous throws and bedspreads. The ceramic crafts she did so well are enjoyed by her family. She was a member of St. Luke’s United Church, where she enjoyed their weekly craft days, and the Sunday after service brunches. The family would like to express their deep gratitude to the Staff at Finlandia, for their care and compassion during Annetta’s stay. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospital for Sick Children would be greatly appreciated. Funeral Service in the R.J Barnard Chapel of the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch St. Sudbury on Friday December 19th, at 11:30 am. (Friends may call on Thursday from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm). Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery.
