CUSSON, Lucille (Ouellette)

It is with much sadness that the family announces her passing at the Elizabeth Centre in Val Caron on January 26th, 2015 at the age of 96 years. Beloved wife of the Late Ted Cusson (Ex-Chief Conservation Officer of the then Ontario Department of Lands and Forests). Born in Bonfield, she was the last surviving child of the Late Ovila Ouellette and the Late Roseanne (née Rainville). Lucille was predeceased by her brothers Gérard, Louis, Georges, André, Lionel and her sister Hélène. She had no children of her own but maintained a very close relationship with her sister Hélène Perreault’s children and their families: Ronald (Louise) of Montréal, Lucille (Late Bob Botsford) of Fort Frances, Monique (Late Sylvio Allain) of Sudbury, Late Géraldine, Jean-Luc (Lise) of Iroquois Falls and Francine (Jean-Marc Blake) of Ottawa. And also Lucilles ‘s niece Vivianne (Maurice Robidoux) of Val Caron. She greatly cherished her relationship with her many friends, the Sauder and Howe families of Monetville as well as her friends from the Sudbury Ornithological Society, Nellie Murphy and Dorothy Larsen. Lucille was an avid member and loved to participate in bird counts, especially the Christmas bird counts. At Lucille’s request there will be no visitation however a memorial service will take place at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury on Wednesday, January 28th, 2015 at 12 p.m. Anyone willing to make a donation in Lucille’s memory may do so to the charity of their choice.
