In Loving Memory of Estelle A. Leblanc (nee Brunet) It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Estelle Leblanc in her home surrounded by her loved ones on January 27th, 2015 at the age of 71. Born north of Hagar, Ontario, the daughter of the late Armand Brunet and Joahana Brunet (nee Chartrand). Predeceased by her brother Gerald Brunet (wife Jackie predeceased), Rolland Brunet (wife Lorraine) and dear sister Rollande Coyle (husband Rene). She is survived by her brother Jean-Paul Brunet (wife Lillian). Loving wife of Raymond, her husband of 55 years. Loving mother of Marcel Leblanc (wife Diane), Lionel Leblanc (friend Diane predeceased), Joanne Leblanc (friend Shawn), Angel St. Jean (husband Rick), and Carmen Lizotte (husband Dan). Cherished Memere to Raymond Leblanc, Sara Yick (husband Dan), Maggie Leblanc, Ricky St. Jean, Melissa Richardson, Kristy Lizotte, Tyson St. Jean, Kayla Richardson, Jesse St. Jean, Dustin Lizotte, and great Memere to Colin, Olivia and Owen. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Estelle loved spending time with her grandchildren. Laughing, playing card games, camping, fishing and travelling brought her great joy. Music followed her everywhere she went. She always had a smile for everyone she met and loved working at the Bil Mur Motel in Whitefish as one of the finest cooks they had. Special thanks to her “old lady” friend Gail Thornton and all the other fantastic PSW’s and nurses that showed so much love and compassion during her good fight. Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. (Friends may call from 2-5, 7-9 p.m. Friday with parish prayers at 3:00 p.m.) Funeral Mass in St. Christopher’s Church, Whitefish Saturday, January 31st, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation with interment in the Whitefish Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated.
