On Sunday, March 22nd, 2015, at the Maison Vale Hospice, peacefully and surrounded by all his loving family, Camille went home to our Heavenly Father at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Rose (nee Ortuso) Quesnel. Loving father of William “Bill” Quesnel. Devoted and loving son of William and Yolande (Lacasse) Quesnel, (both predeceased).Dear brother of Julien (Helene); Remi (Helena); Andre (Jamie) and infant sister Julienne (predeceased). Also predeceased by his very special aunts Rhea Lacasse and Blanche Lacasse. Caring and loving son-in-law to the late Raffaele & Angelina Ortuso.Cherished brother-in-law to Anne Amari (late Ben); Maria Teddy (Earl); very special uncle to Gary Amari (Trina) & numerous others nieces and nephews and extended families. Camille was a dedicated and compassionate volunteer for over 10 years at St-Joseph’s Villa. He had organized a wood working group for the male residents, and also was the “escort and chauffeur” on many outings for the residents. He was very involved with the Canadian Power & Sail Squadron (CPS) as an active member and officer. Camille was a devoted husband, loving father and respected mentor. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Candice Walton and her amazing care team from the NEOCC. Also infinite gratitude to all the Team at Maison Vale Hospice for their compassionate care. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. Sudbury Friday, March 27th, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the Cooperative Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury.
