In Loving Memory of Olavi E. Laakso 78 years Suddenly, Monday, March 23rd, 2015 at Health Sciences North. Beloved husband of Jeanette (Evers) Laakso. Loving father of Derek Laakso (Lise). Cherished grandfather of Jesse Laakso (predeceased 2012) and Dillon Laakso. Dear son of Matti and Lyyti Laakso both predeceased. Dear brother of Anni Ranta (Walter), Eila MacKenzie predeceased (Archie predeceased) and Elsie Toivonen (Ralph). Special son in law to Jack and Cecilia Evers. Sadly missed by many relatives in Canada and Finland. Olavi died doing what he liked best, being outdoors walking his canine buddy Jager. At Olavi’s request there will be no funeral visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home, Sudbury.
