It is with great sorrow that the family announces his death in Chelmsford on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the age of 77 years. Son of the late Orphila and Corine (née Barnes) Courtemanche. Beloved husband of Priscille (née Sauvé) Courtemanche of Azilda. Loving father of Louise Latourelle of Oakville and Neil Courtemanche (Jocelyne) of Ottawa. Cherished grandfather of Alexa, Christiane and Roxane. Sadly missed by his brothers and sisters Lionel (Judy), Ernest (Robin) both of Sudbury, Thérèse Forest (Aimé) of Sturgeon Falls and Rita Condron of Burlington. Lovingly remembered by his sisters-in-law Jeannine Milinkovich (late Steve) of Burlington and Carmen Becker (Gord) of Sudbury as well as by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Leo was Recreation Director for the Town of Rayside Balfour for over 30 years and was well known in the community for his dedication and work ethic. He was also an avid sports fan. Leo was at his happiest when surrounded by family and friends, especially his granddaughters. He will never be forgotten. The family expresses its heartfelt appreciation to the staff of St-Gabriel’s Villa for the excellent care. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford, Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. at Ste-Agnès Church, Azilda.
