It is with great sorrow that the family announces his sudden passing with his wife by his side on Friday, April 17th, 2015 at home at the age of 88 years. Son of the late Elzéar and late Azélie (née Fortier) Pigeon. Beloved husband of 66 years to Mayva (née Lévesque) Pigeon. Loving father of Gérald Pigeon (Sandra), Lucille Gauvreau (Gerry) and Lise Langill (Larry). Cherished Pépère of Mélanie, Michelle, Jean-Claude and Allison. Dear brother of Aline Metcalfe (late Bob). Predeceased by his siblings; Laurent-Louis, René, Benoit, Lucille, Noëlla, Laurette, Gabrielle, Edmée, Antoinette, Carmelle and Claire. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Mr. Pigeon was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree, council 11559, Ste-Agnès, Azilda, Assembly 250 Mgr. Adolphe Proulx. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home 4691 R.R., Chelmsford on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2015 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 23rd, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Ste-Agnès Church, Azilda. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in André’s memory by cheque or online to the Knights of Columbus Azilda.
