In Loving Memory of Bruce Walter Wilson 67 years Peacefully, Monday, April 20th, 2015 at Health Sciences North with loving family at his side. Beloved husband of Debbie (Gordon) Wilson predeceased June 8th, 2011. Loving father of Ryan (Kayla Demarell) and Kory (Danielle Desjardins). Cherished grandfather of Samantha, Brady and Wyatt. Dear son of Walter and Ruth Wilson both predeceased. Dear brother of Gail Delaney (Paul) both predeceased, Glen (Alice) and Clyde predeceased (Connie). Special brother in law to Stewart and Wendy Gordon, Tim and Lise Gordon, Darlene and Shawn Gray, Donna and Paul Thibodeau, Leonard and Mariette Gordon and Dolly and Chris Andrews. Sadly missed by Rob and Val Sageloly and family. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families and his feline friends. A longtime Onaping resident, Bruce worked at Falconbridge LTD. retiring in 1994 with 30 years service. A proud associate of the Onaping Falls Royal Canadian Legion. He was an avid gardener whose green thumb produced bountiful vegetables. He was a great cat lover, an accomplished golfer and hockey player, a keen outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bruce will be remembered for his great sense of humour and generosity, he was always quick to help others and he was very devoted to his loving family. Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent Street at Hazel Street, Sudbury (Friends may call 2-4; 7-9 P.M. Thursday only) Funeral Mass in St. Bartholomew’s Church, Levack Friday, April 24th, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. Cremation with interment in the family plot at Maplecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
