It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Monday, April 20th , 2015 at the age of 81 years. Son of the late Alfred and Philomene Morrissette. Beloved husband of Carmen Morrissette (nee Ross). Loving father of Lucie Proulx (Michel) of Saskatoon, Paul (Lise), Pat (Kim), Dianne Lamontagne (Claude) and Gisele Morrissette all of Chelmsford, Francine Proulx (Denis Larocque) (Pierre predeceased) of Brantford and Monique O’Hare (James) of Mattawa. Dear brother of Bernadette, Ramona, Madeleine and Rachelle. Predeceased by his brothers Alfred Jr, Emeril, Gerald, Albert, Rene, Leonard and his sisters Yvette, Rose-May and Annette. Cherished grandfather of Sylvain, Angele, Melanie, Julie, Christine, Andrew, Marc, Renee, Sophie (predeceased), Pierre, Patrick and Josee. Great grandfather to Logan, Audrey, Mateo, Lillianne, Annabelle, Jacob, Olivier, Dylan and Alexis. Emile was a Falconbridge retiree and enjoyed the outdoors. He took great joy in spending time with his family and fishing was one of his favorite past times. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Thursday, April 23rd, 2015 from 1-4 and 7-8 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. in the Chapel.
