It is with great sadness that the family of Jean Joseph Kirouac announces his passing on Friday May 1st 2015 at the age of 82 years. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife Cecile Peterson and his children; Lloyd (Bonnie), Monique Richer (Paul), Nicky Gadoury (Gilbert), Daniel (Chantal), Rachel Johnson (David), Reggie (Cammi), and Robert Peterson (Gisele). He cherished his 19 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and will be remembered for his “cookies”. He will be greatly missed by many nieces/nephews, extended family/friends, and brother in law Reggie Lacasse and sister in law Lucille “Lou-Lou” Lacasse. Jean was predeceased in 2000, by his first wife Jeannette Dupuis. He adored spending time with his family, at home and at the camp. He was also, passionate about his stonework and loved the summers fishing on his pontoon boat. The family expresses their sincere gratitude to Dr. Singh, the nursing staff, and physiotherapists on the 7th floor at Health Sciences North for their care and compassion during John’s stay. Memorial Funeral Prayers In the R.J Barnard Chapel Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch St. Sudbury On Thursday May 7th, 2015. at 11:30am. (Visitation Wednesday May 6, 2015 2:00pm - 5:00pm and 7:00pm – 9:00pm) Interment at the Civic Memorial Cemetery. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. A donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
