In loving memory of Phyllis Norma Marie Bissonnette (nee Goddard) 85 years Passed away suddenly but peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, May 18th, 2015 at Health Sciences North. Beloved wife of Cecil Bissonnette predeceased. Loving mother of Judy McLeish (Bill) of Capreol, Gerry (Anna) of Garson and Barry of Vancouver Island, B.C. Cherished grandmother of Angie (Denis), Larry (Kendra), Karii, Kevin (Mariza), Darren (Melanie), Blaire, Kady, Sean, Brad and Joel; great grandmother of Samantha (Jay), Cassandra (Scott), Riley, Jesse (Brandy), Alain, Danielle, Liam, Bradley, Alexis, Krista, Matteo, Zophia, Ronny, Nicholas, Cecil and Cameron; great great grandmother of Serenity and Teaghan. Dear sister of Dorothy Crosier (Len predeceased) and Beth Fortin (Gary predeceased). Predeceased by her sisters Alice Milks (Basil), Nancy; her brothers Doug, Joe, Raymond and Harry. Predeceased by her parents Alice and Phillip Goddard. Phyllis was a long-time member of St. Stanislaus Church and C.W.L. in Copper Cliff and for the last 5 years a member of Our Lady of Peace Church, Capreol. She was an amazing mother, grandmother and friend. She took pride in her home and gardens. Her skills in the kitchen had many mouths watering, all would gather around her counter waiting to be served. The love she had for us was a tangible thing and shone in her eyes. She battled her blindness and disabilities with courage and strength. She loved the lord and it brings us comfort to know he welcomed her into the gates of heaven and into her husband’s arms. Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home Hanmer/Capreol Chapel 4605 Michelle Dr. at Hwy 69N, Hanmer Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM only Funeral mass at Our Lady of Peace Church, Capreol Tuesday, May 26th, 2015 at 11 AM Cremation with interment in the St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Memorial donations to the CNIB would be appreciated by the family.
