BLAKE, Claire Marie (née Lafleur) The family announces her passing in Sudbury on Monday, May 18th, 2015 at the age of 76 years. Daughter of the late Emile and the late Laurette (née Coté) Lafleur. Beloved wife of Laurent “Larry” Blake. Loving mother of Denis (Christine), Claude (Diana) and Roger (Denise). Dear sister of Robert (Francoise), Paul (Patricia), Richard (Cathy), Carmen Poirier, Colette (predeceased Don Gagné) (Ken) Langille, Normand (Brenda), Aline (Ron) Easton and Louise Lafleur (Kae Roberts). She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Christopher (Ashley), Anthony, Andrew, Paul and Joseph. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and godchildren. Claire was an avid member of the Medical Secretaries Association, the Red Hats Society, the Coniston Seniors and Golden Age Club as well as the Older Adult Center. Claire was a proud member of the C.W.L. for over 25 years. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and has created many beautiful quilts over the years. She was known for her extensive hat collection, she never left the home without one. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Friday, May 22nd, 2015 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9:30 p.m. Funeral Service will take place Saturday, May 23rd, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Church, Sudbury.
