BUZ, Tamara (KARTASZOW)

In Loving Memory of Tamara Buz (nee Kartaszow) 87 years Welcomed into the open arms of God, Tuesday, May 19th, 2015 at the Maison Vale Hospice, Sudbury. Beloved wife of Ilja Buz. Loving mother of Irene (husband George Aniol), Ludmila Buz, Tatjana (husband Duncan Pitts), Tamara (husband Peter Bolton) and Richard (wife Melissa). Cherished grandmother of Michael (wife Rose), Donna (husband Mike Ruffo), Karen, Jordan, Natasha, Larra (husband Karam Debley), Rochelle, Darrel, Natalia, Angelina and Sophia and great grandchildren Andrew, Hanna, Matthew and Joseph. Dear daughter of Szymon and Maria Kartaszow predeceased. Dear sister of Luba Gerasimowicz, Walter Kartaszow, Vera Voorhees and Maria Priest. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Tamara will be remembered as a chef “extraordinaire”, she expressed her love for others by cooking delicious meals for them as well as being a great hostess, sharing her gift of hospitality. She was skilled at needlepoint, knitting and crocheting. She lived Christ’s lessons as a good Samaritan and Shepherd and was a generous giver to those in need, whether money, clothing, food or time. She also enjoyed being an organic gardener, her green thumb produced beautiful flowers and bountiful vegetables. Tamara was always a nurturing mother, even after her children were grown she continued that legacy of love to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family expresses their appreciation to Gabby from Bayshore, Dr. Crichton and the Hospice Staff for their excellent care and compassion. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch Street, Sudbury Friday, May 22nd, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9 P.M. Thursday and after 12 noon Friday) Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery. Donations to the All Nations Building Fund or the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
