Gunter of Worthington passed away at Health Sciences North, Sudbury on Thursday, July 2nd, 2015 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis (nee Gahr) Volkmann. Dear son of the late Paul & Ilse Volckmann. Loving father of Bruce (wife Joanne) of Vancouver, British Columbia, Bryon (wife Sandy) of Naughton & Brenda Lynn Pasternak (husband John) of Tillsonburg, Ontario. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren, Alecia, David, Stephanie & Becky & great-grandchildren Layla, Maddy, Ethan, Charlie & Heidi. Very dear brother of Udo & Ingrid both of Germany & the late Gert. Cremation has taken place and a gathering & open house of family & friends will be held at the Beaver Lake Community Centre on Wednesday, July 8th from 2-5 p.m. Special thanks to Dr. Mitchell, Dr. Singh & the wonderful nursing staff of Palliative Care of Health Sciences North.
