In Loving Memory of Maria (Ortuso) Teddy 67 years Sunday, September 27th, 2015 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, peacefully and surrounded by all her loving family, Maria went home to our Heavenly Father at the age of 67 years. Beloved wife of Earl Teddy. Loving daughter of Raffaele and Angelina (Vicedomini) Ortuso both predeceased. Cherished sister of Anne (Ben Amari predeceased) and Rose (Camille Quesnel predeceased). Very special aunt of Bill, Gary (Trina) and family. Dear cousin to Pasquale (wife Angela) and their sons Dominic and Marco. Dear step-mother of Glen, Gail, Todd (Diana), Lynn and Anne. Dear sister in law of Doug (Faye), Jean (Tracy) and Wayne. Born in Carpino, Italy, Maria worked at the Sudbury Fire Department for 30 years. She proudly served as an Associate with the Sisters of St. Joseph, volunteered and later worked at the Life Enrichment Center and was a longtime volunteer in the office at Holy Redeemer Church. She was a woman of great faith and lived that faith every day. She will be lovingly remembered for her generous nature, always ready to help anyone at any time. Maria had a wonderful heart of caring, kindness and a truly forgiving nature. Her favourite words to share were, “God bless them all” and “God is Good”. Thursday) Funeral Mass in Holy Redeemer Church, 1887 Bancroft Drive, Sudbury Friday, October 2nd, 2015 at 10:00 A.M.
