He was honoured to work along side the men and women at Glencore. He loved the outdoors; hunting, trapping and fishing, especially spending time at his trap camp and the camp on the Spanish River. He was very proud of his flower garden that he worked hard on and loved to show it off. He was also proud of his ”man cave” where he would watch the hummingbirds in his flower beds. Most of all, Gord loved being with his family and just enjoying the simple joys of life. At Gord’s request there will be no visitation. A celebration of life will be held at Royal Canadian Legion Br. 503, 3 St. James St., Onaping Falls on Saturday, October 10th, 2015 from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sudbury & Area Victims Services or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home. “My island of peace, in a sea of chaos is now a shinning star” – Love always Patricia
