In Loving Memory of Angélina Dubé (née Lafroix) 88 years Peacefully Thursday, October 1st, 2015 with her loving children and only grand-daughter by her side at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Beloved wife of Lucien “Lou” Dubé predeceased 2005. Loving mother of Louise Dubé and Michel Dubé. Cherished grandmother of Nica Dubé-Spencer. Dear daughter of Olivier and Marie (née St. Louis) Lafroix both predeceased. Predecased by her brothers Gérard and Ferdinand (Louise of Thunder Bay) and her sister Angèle as well as her brothers in law Émile and Pite “Edmond” (Monette Dubé) and her sister in law Thérèse. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews especially her goddaughter Jacynthe Couture. Angélina was born July 18th, 1927 in Sturgeon Falls. She completed her schooling with honors as well as her business course with “les Soeurs de la Sagesse” in Sturgeon Falls then started her career in administration at the National Bank. Following her heart and the invitation of her future husband, she moved to Sudbury in her early twenties. She worked for the Federal Government and many other businesses including CHNO and Ernie Signs. With her husband they co-owned Dubé (Plexiglas) Plastics. She retired around the age of 60 which coincided with the birth of her grand-daughter. Happily she became a wonderful grandmother. She started a small arts and crafts business, selling her sewing and embroidery at the Flea Market in the Southridge Mall and at the Place Bonaventure Mall in Chelmsford for over 20 years. Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. (Friends may call from 7-9pm Friday and after 9am Saturday) Funeral Mass In Ste Anne des Pins Church, 14 Beech St., Sudbury Saturday, October 10th, 2015 at 11am followed by a reception in the Church Hall. A la douce mémoire de Angélina Dubé (née Lafroix) 88 ans Elle nous à quitté paisiblement entourée de l’amour de sa famille, ses deux enfants et sa petite fille unique le jeudi 1er octobre 2015 à l’hôpital l’Horizon Santé Nord. Épouse bien-aimée de Lucien « Lou » Dubé, décédé en 2005. Tendre maman de Louise Dubé et Michel Dubé. Grand-maman spéciale de Nica Dubé-Spencer. Chère fille de feu d’Olivier et feue Marie (née St. Louis) Lafroix. Elle est précédée par ses frères Gérard et Ferdinand (Louise de Thunder Bay) et sa sœur Angèle ainsi que ses beaux-frères Émile et Pite “Edmond” (Monette Dubé) et sa belle-sœur Thérèse. Elle laisse aussi dans le deuil plusieurs neveux et nièces, spécialement sa filleule Jacynthe Couture. Angélina est née le 18 juillet 1927 à Sturgeon Falls. Elle a complété ses études avec honneur ainsi que son cours commerciaux avec les Sœurs de la Sagesse à Sturgeon Falls, sa carrière commence en administration à la Banque Nationale. Portée par l’amour et l’invitation de son futur mari, elle déménage à Sudbury au début de sa vingtaine. Elle travaille pour le gouvernement fédéral et plusieurs entreprises, notamment CHNO et Ernie Signs. Avec son mari, elle est copropriétaire et administratrice de Dubé (plexiglass) Plastics. Elle prend sa retraite vers l’âge de 60 ans, ce qui coïncide avec la naissance de sa petite-fille. A son grand bonheur, elle devient alors une merveilleuse grand-maman. Entrepreneuse, elle a fondé un petit commerce d’artisanat en vendant sa couture au Flea Market au Southridge Mall puis à la Place Bonaventure à Chelmsford pendant plus de 20 ans. La famille recevra parents et amis au Salon funéraire Lougheed, 252 rue Regent (à rue Hazel) le vendredi 9 octobre 2015 de 7 à 9 p.m. et après 9 a.m. samedi. La messe funéraire aura lieu à l’église Ste Anne des Pins, 14 rue Beech le samedi 10 octobre 2015 à 11 a.m., suivit d’une réception dans la salle paroissiale.
