GLADU, Eméri

Eméri Gladu passed away peacefully at home Monday, November 16, 2015 at the age of 78 years. His wife Thérèse (née Giroux) of 55 years of marriage and both daughters Jocelyne and Colette Gladu-Anderson (Albert) were by his side at the time of death. Predeceased by parents Lionel Gladu and Alice (née Ranger), by his daughter Marie and by his brother Aimé (Carolyn). Dear brother of Diane Lake (late Lawrence) and Réné (Vicky). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and Molly. Eméri enjoyed spending time camping, fishing and going for walks. He was very happy to spend time with his family. He had a great sense of humour and you were always able to count on his honesty and love of life. The family would like to thank the medical staff at the doctor’s office, the Northeastern Cancer Centre, Bayshore Nursing, CCAC, Palliative Care and Bradley Pharmacy. The family would like to thank the Cooperative Funeral Home. In keeping with Eméri’s wishes there will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St-Jean de Brébeuf Church, Sudbury.
