LEMAIRE, Albert

The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of Jeannine (née Roberge) Lemaire of Chelmsford. Son of the late Prosper and the late Valéda (née Tourangeau) Lemaire. Loving father of Monique Lemaire (Pierre Néron) of Timmins and France Petit (Patrik) of Ottawa. Predeceased by his son Denis (Caroline of Timmins). Dear brother of Joffre (late Alice)(Madeleine), Albertine Henri (Lucien), Marcel (Lucie) and Jeanne d’Arc Lemaire (late Ralph). Predecesed by his siblings Royal (late Lilian), Estaire Parent (late Jean-Marie), Alma Bouchard (late Maurice), Louis (Olivette) and Gérard (Gisèle). Cherished grandfather of Terry (Jessica), Martin, Patrick, Sydney, Courtney and Tyler. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Albert was deacon at St-Joseph’s Church in Chelmsford for 28 years and was heavily involved with church activities. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree council 6258, Valley Centre, 4th degree Msgr. Adolphe Proulx Assembly and former president of the Knights of the Round Table Committee. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 RR 15, Chelmsford, Friday, February 5, 2016 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. St-Joseph’s Church, Chelmsford.
