In Loving Memory of Robena Wendy “Rusty” Del-Pivo (nee Woodall) We are saddend to announce the passing of our Precious Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother on Tuesday February 2nd, 2016 at Health Sciences North surrounded by her family who never left her side. Born in Cut Knife Saskatchewan on October 25th, 1933 to Ralph and Ellen (nee Robbins) Woodall (both predeceased). Raised on the family farm until she was 16 years old. She then came to Ontario to live with her Aunt and Uncle in St. Catharines and attended Business College. In 1953 she joined the Royal Canadian Air Force, which eventually brought her to be stationed at the Radar Base in Sudbury Ontario. She retired from the Air Force in 1956. Aside from the Air Force she also worked for the C.N.I.B., the Health Unit, The House of Hide, The Leather Touch and Happy Hour Card shop in the New Sudbury Shopping Centre. She made many friendships while working that she deeply cherished. She was also an avid bowler and was still bowling until this past year. Even at 80 years old she could still bowl a 328. She volunteered with the 1st New Sudbury Brownie Pack when her daughter was younger. She enjoyed attending her sons’ hockey games as well as her grandsons. She always cheered the loudest. She met and married Richard Del-Pivo (predeceased 2003) on August 31st, 1962. Together they raised 4 children. They were blessed with 7 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren (her Angels); Katherine Pipe (nee Burian) (husband David) of Guelph Ontario; Jordan Sauvé; Cassie and Paige Del-Pivo; and Ashley, Darryn, and Kaitlyn Del-Pivo all of Sudbury Ontario.
